Brand Spinning New !

Remember how you'd never really think of Printex when talking of colorful ntuma?
Remember when Printex fabric seemed only to be for (black & white) funerals and outdooring ceremonies?
Well times have definitely changed. It's obvious a lot of hard work has gone in to give Printex its much desired facelift.
With their latest collection, Xclusive and Arete, Printex is definitely set to take its rightful place in the fashion world.
Take a look at these photos.
Another reason we love Printex is their collaboration with local designers.
Enjoy

The One Show

So the new season of The One Show is on.
This season we're loving their colorful set, and lovely hosts. Actually it's Jocelyn Dumas' style that has caught our attention the most.
Our adorable Jocelyn has been a sight to behold.
Looking gorgeous in her chic clothing, ravishing jewelry and smart hair do's, she's always a delight to watch on TV. For Jocelyn, there's never a down time in her appearance.
Kudos to her stylist(s) for the great job.

'The Shuttered Ghanaian'

We all love to capture those memorable moments. Be it those days when you're looking splendid for an occassion or fun times with a friend.
Well guess what? We found someone who loves to 'still' those cherished moments and bring them to life forever.
'I believe in the art of photography and not the science of it' , says T.J. Letsa, who's pledged his life to taking awesome pictures.
We were captivated by the ingenuity of his latest work dubbed, 'The shuttered Ghanaian' and we're definately hooking up for a collaboration.

Bee Arthur takes Ghana global

Nothing excites us better than the thought of Ghanaian fashion going global.

That is why we are so thrilled about the upcoming Africa Fashion Reception, which is set to be held on June 22,at Paris. This grand event would be hosting great designers from over 20 African countries.

Of course, our motherland would be well represented, and by no other person than our award winning designer Bee Arthur of B'ExotiQ fashion. She would be submitting 10 garments for the international exhibition.

Our Bee has always stood out because of her outstanding creative styles and we trust she'll deliver.

 Congrats Bee!

The Silver Star Launch with a touch of Fashion

With people busily pacing around, dark muscled men polishing cars on display, colourful back drop lights giving off their usual fancy feel and the excitement of fire crackers, the showroom of The Silver Star Towers was brought to life for the launch of the new Mercedes E-Class 2013. Parked for everyone to share in its splendour, the luxury saloon car exuded beauty, grace and class of its own.

Of course there was a showcase of splendid Ghanaian designs provided by the final year fashion students of Radford University, which was a teaser to their upcoming fashion show. The chic cuts of the students were just on point and managed to compete with the beauty of the luxury saloon car, which was the toast of the day.

All we saw were 5 amazing creative designs but these were more than enough to leave us craving for more.

Fortunately, we don’t have to wait too long for the main event. Their fashion show is two weeks away and would be held at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel. I know you wouldn’t want to miss it.

We'll bring more information soon.

Good to be back!!!

Annnd we're BACKKK!
We’re redoing our beds and painting our walls. Our family is fast growing and we certainly can only deliver the best to you.

We understand the inconvenience of having your favorite Ghanaian fashion blog go dormant, even if for a short while, and sincerely apologize. No worries though, we are back and with the very best of Ghanaian fashion and lifestyle.

That said, our annual #fghshop took off this year from March 30 to April 1 at the Event Haven, Trade Fair Centre. Thanks to you all we had a great time. We promise to make it even bigger next year.

And yes we had some even more good news!  Our heartfelt gratitude to the Ministry of Trade & Industry and Google for recognizing our work and awarding us as ‘Innovation Heroes’. We are also grateful to our loyal clients and patrons, we wouldn’t have made it this far without you. For us at FGH, this award is a motivator, we would strive harder to reach the highest standards in the fashion industry.

TeamFashionistaGH has been challenged by the growth of FGH so far and are bursting with renewed energy to make your day... everyday!

Cheers to us all!
