Oh wooow!
Immagine, two African designers made it to the historic Alta Roma Fashion Show and that's not all.
They are both Ghanaian!!
Awesome right?
Aisha Ayensu and Titi Ademola thrilled Africa, and the world actually, as they took the runway in turns to showcase spectacular styles from their latest collections.
Using hand woven fabrics from Burkina Faso, the Ghanaian designers created unique styles for their presentation in Rome, winning the hearts of many.
Both designers have been a part of a collaboration between the Ethical Fashion Initiative and Alta Roma Style&Events Agency,
aimed at promoting emerging West African fashion designers
and textiles, as well as local artisans.
Congrats guys!
Africa's proud of you!
